Fighting Autism

Some people will say that you can't fight autism, but that is not true. The Moms I know that have children affected by this disorder fight every day to bring out the best in their children. I met recently with two other Moms going through the same trials and doubts that I have been experiencing lately and there was so much comfort in knowing that we were not alone. It was really beautiful the way we could relate and encourage one another. It was very healing for me.
